Fox News Attempts To Be Hip; Fails

Obviously Fox News didn’t study it’s hip-hop dictionary, because the conservative news channel made a lil boo-boo. Addressing Michelle Obama as “Obama Baby Mama,” it must have slipped FN’s mind that Michelle is in fact the hopeful president’s WIFE, and that to get technical, a “baby mama” is slang for the unwed mother of one's child.

Naturally, Bill Shine, Fox News Senior Vice President issued the following statement—the *third* apology-ish statement necessitated by the channel within *three* weeks:

“A producer on the program exercised poor judgment in using this chyron
during the segment.”

Looks Like I Have to Change My Candidate of Choice

I was team Hillz all the way, but deep down I knew Obama was going to clinch the Democratic Party nomination, and sure enough, he did. So it looks like I'm shifting my support over to Obama for US PRES 08. But either way, this is good, because I haven’t really heard too many people utter the name “John McCain” when it comes to who they are endorsing (unless of course those McCain endorsers are just keeping quiet based on self-shame). So I guess it’s time for me to focus on hopefully getting our first US Black President. As long as we have a liberal in office, I’m all good (as much as I hate to admit I’ll miss that goofy little Bush face in office though—not joking—he was entertaining). What do you guys think? Was anyone surprised?
